Great Weekend for our girls. Continued growth as a team and as a family. They battled the weather to go 6-0 in Breaux Bridge this weekend. They had a lot of fun on the field, at the hotel and at the restaurants. Congratulations and keep working! Attached are some top performers from the weekend.

Anyone who has ever met our girl Kylee knows she is a lady of very few words and if she’s smiling it’s something really special or Jay Foster. This is her first home run, birthday girl, new hair do, walk off smile.

I am not sure what motivates other teams, but I know what motivates my group of Sluggers! Their motivation is food! So the agreement is Coach will cook for either of the things below:

1. Win a tournament!
2. Score 15 runs in a game!

After last weekend. They earned a meal, so tonight we practice as a family and then we eat as a family.

Tonight’s menu is homemade burgers, honey butter marinated chicken tender sandwiches and apricot pepper jelly glazed pork loin sandwiches!

Keep working and keep developing! More meals to come..
