BRYC Blitz is an elite, character-driven travel program designed for families seeking high-level competition and long-term athlete development.
We welcome athletes who demonstrate strong fundamentals, coachability, and a team-first mindset. Prior football experience is helpful, but effort and attitude matter most.

Simply put—If we don’t get enough volunteers, we’ll have to cut teams or combine them, which means less playing time for our girls. 👎🏻👎🏽

🏈🙌 INFORMATION SESSION THIS WEDNESDAY (8/12) -- COACHING FLAG FOOTBALL 🙌🏈

Want to Learn About Coaching Flag Football? Or perhaps you're interested in hearing about one of the most rewarding and fun ways to spend some of your Sundays? Join us for a virtual information session to learn what it's really like to coach with BRYC Flag Football.

Whether your child plays in our 6U division or is approaching high school, playing in the co-ed program or the girls only program, coaching is a fantastic way to be involved, build community, and make a lasting impact on young athletes.

This session is for informational purposes only, no commitment is required to attend. No RSVP is required to attend, just click the link at the date/time provided.

Date: August 12, 2026 (Wednesday)
Time: 8pm – 9pm EST (30 minute presentation followed by Q&A)
Location: Virtual via Google Meets

Current BRYC coaches will share:

- What coaching actually involves
- Tips and lessons learned from their experiences
- How we support new coaches
- The core values and culture of BRYC Flag Football
- Opportunities to coach at both the recreational and competitive levels, either in the co-ed program or Females in Flag program

We'll spend approximately 20–30 minutes sharing information and experiences, followed by an open Q&A session where you can ask anything you'd like.

Topics will include:

- Co-Ed Recreational Flag Football
- Females in Flag (Girls-Only Division)
- Competitive Travel Flag Football (Blitz Teams)
- Coaching opportunities from 6U through High School

No prior coaching experience is required, and there is no commitment expected in this information session. This session is simply an opportunity to learn more, meet current coaches, and decide whether coaching might be a good fit for you. Most of our coaches started with little or no coaching experience. If you enjoy working with kids and want to help create a positive experience for players, we'll help with the rest.

We know life is busy — work, family, and everything in between. But if you’ve ever thought about giving back or inspiring young girls, this is your moment.

BRYC’s Females in Flag league is looking for women to coach our all‑girls flag football teams. No experience? No problem! We’ll train you, support you, and make sure you have a blast along the way.

TL;DR: This season rocked, our girls rocked, and we couldn't have done it without our volunteers. (And psssst we want MORE female coaches for our girls this fall! No experience necessary!)

We can’t believe the inaugural Females in Flag season has already come to a close. What an incredible journey. The girls were absolute powerhouses out on the field, and it was inspiring to watch them learn, grow, and gain confidence each week.

A huge and heartfelt thank-you to all our coaches and volunteers who made this season possible. BRYC truly wouldn’t be the same without your time, energy, and commitment to these athletes.

We also want to share an opportunity for those interested in continuing to play flag football over the summer. One of our very own coaches, Brendan Campbell, is hosting the Lady Spartan Flag Football Camps June 29 & 30 – July 1 & 2 at West Springfield High School from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and benefit from experienced staff, daily drills, and live play. This camp is recommended for girls entering 7th–12th grades. The cost is $85.
