HPIS Night from Quincy 8/8. Camera seems to have developed an issue where any little nudge sends the camera gyro into a frenzy. It is what it is, I’ll try to fix it my camera guy is on his last leg. No heats were recorded, no way I can maintain 3 classes and record them.
Clone 340 feature was giving up about 40lbs, very good on my worn out Vegas in the heats. Slapped some poorly prepared AJCs for the features, fired off way too loose for the first 10 laps, felt right at the end. Made the adjustment and stood it up another tooth for the 360 feature. Pretty much perfect at that point in the night.
Treaded Predator race was a competition of surviving. I cut out most of the starting conundrum for this but I have the completely uncut version of 10+ minutes on lap 0 if anyone needs to see…. After we went single file we raced great. Jeffery and Michael were just as fast as the 18s and us three raced competitively to end it. Maybe a taller gear and tighter off and I mighta got another, I was happy with anyone winning out of the top 3, fast and clean drivers to say the least. I’m a fan of double file but tearing stuff up triggers me.😂
Great changing race surface all night, efficient show and didn’t feel rushed! I know them light towers probably weren’t free so I appreciate Bill and the rest of Quincy’s staff for an awesome night!

Great day for the crew from Exit 82! Good day for myself. Intense but professional and clean racing. Track was a terrific surface to be on and a fantastic facility to race! Thank yall for being apart of it!

18s needs a cosmetic lift after a “predator” climbed over ole girl 3 times on lap 1 so that’s pretty awesome. 18T clone had all the lead, weighed 375 every time it hit the track. Im too lazy to move weights around so I gave up a little but it was still balls to the wall like usual. Still made it to the pay window in all three classes. Excellent throttle work at this track lots of fun tonight regardless of clowns. Had fun with the racers on the track in each class, good notes to build on. Thank you to Quincy’s staff for constructing a great racing surface. Till Spoon tomorrow, it’s gonna be hot so I’ll see y’all with a hangover!

The midnight rider has galloped his trusty steeds into Lil Bullring Quincy Raceways for the HPIS night. 3 class 1 pilot!

I didn’t record the heats I’m lazy and that woulda been 6 extra segments. Saddled up for 3 classes, had a great time in each trading every lane with all the drivers. Track was hammer down 3 lanes wide, rolled a ton of speed all day!

Last weeks left turn sessions from Spoon River 7/26! Track was awesome unlike the weather. Thanks to the staff, everyone we race with for baking in the heat.
Lucas had some generator mowtah struggles but held it to the floor till the end. Great run and got much smoother in the feature.
Clone was zippin all day, maybe a touch tight in the feature. Maybe it was the exhaustion of my own body, either way the ole crank 📦 scores another tally. We had a great time and made it home in one piece!
