The Chupacabras Baseball Club

The Chupacabras will be taking on The Copperheads in a The Ozarks Baseball League team scrimmage on November 10th at Killian Park at 6pm!

It’s awesome that we can do these scrimmages and get more and more excited as we look towards next season of The OBL. Eventually we will clash in league play, but this one’s just for bragging rights.👀⚾️

Hey everybody, just wanted to give an update on the tournament that we were signed up for this weekend. Unfortunately OKC has gotten almost 6 inches of rain over the past couple of days and has made the fields unplayable and the tournament has been canceled.

We are very disappointed and were all looking forward to baseball this weekend, but all we can do is turn the page and look forward to the next opportunity.

We are building something awesome with The Chupacabras and we are very proud of all of it! We will update very soon with more info on what’s next. Always big things in the works for us as we look forward to the next tournament and the next season of the OBL!

We have made some changes to the roster for The Annual Dirt and Grit Classic next weekend, October 17th and 18th.

This will be the first tournament The Chupacabras have played in since the forming of this team. We have come a long way in almost every way very quickly from the initial formation of the team, to the first season of the OBL, to looking towards the second season of the OBL next year, to the point we are at now where we can form a roster of competitive ball players to compete out of state.

Giving people the chance to play high level baseball and growing the game in SW Missouri has always been the goal. Let this first ever tournament roster mark the first of many.

LET’S GO CHUPACABRAS!!!⚾️⚾️⚾️

Practice makes…perfect? Not Quite, but it does make us better!

It’s been really awesome for all of us playing competitive baseball, but equal to that has been the community we are creating. Baseball, in our opinions, more than any other sport has the ability to really bring people together. That has really shown in the creation and growth of The Chupacabras!

Looking toward the future of this club, big things are coming!

That make 5. 3 more to round out the league.
