Shout out to Sufu Hashim for putting on 3rd Youth Annual Karate tournament. Always great time for the youth, sparring, pizza, demonstrations, great time!

Training full contact, no pads, traveling to multiple schools, 3-6 hours sessions was a normal class. Five days a week. Memories that will never go away, training that will always stay inside of us. I would never trade that time and training for anything. Looking side to side at my brother's and sisters knowing we face any challenge that comes out way. We put in that work, we built the Power Dragon Legacy.
Time moves on what was in our hearts will forever be instilled. Other generations of students come train and put in there work hearing the stories, seeing videos, of the original power dragons, attempting to represent follow and create their own legacy. There are schools, studios, clubs, Taikido was, is and will 4ever be a family. TAIKIDO.

50 plus years never stopped training, stayed with the same instructor Nori Kudo Kancho. With my 4 Brothers who continue to represent the Whitleys Taikido Brent Dwayne Darrin, Derrick, down to there kids, grandkids.

With this reflection I've realized the ones that have motivated and continued to give me the energy to move forward. Old school students New students all receive the number one message " family."
