🐾 DAWGS OF THE WEEK — 10U EFFINGHAM JAGS! 🐾

Last game, the entire team showed up both on offense and defense and played like DAWGS! 💪🏾🔥

This week, we’re doing something special — EVERY JAG is a DAWG OF THE WEEK! 🏆🐾

From the first whistle to the final play, these young men showed heart, toughness, discipline, effort, and determination. They fought for each other, never quit, and did whatever it took to help the team compete and get the job done! Let’s not forget about those pancakes from the O-Line🥞🥞🥞.

💯 ONE TEAM. ONE FAMILY. EVERY JAG. EVERY PLAY. ALL DAWG.

Coaches are proud of every one of you. Keep working, keep believing, and keep getting better!

🐆🔥 EFFINGHAM JAGUARS 8U — BREAKOUT DOG OF THE WEEK! 🔥🐆

This weekend RYLAND CAME TO PLAY FOOTBALL! 🏈💪🏾

Ryland stepped onto that field and showed everybody that he was ready to make an impact on BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL!

🛡️ DEFENSIVELY, Ryland was a problem up front! He dominated the defensive line, finishing the game with a SACK and TWO TACKLES, but what stood out even more was his EXTRA EFFORT. When the ball went away from him, Ryland didn't stop — he chased the ball carrier and pursued the football!

That's the mentality we're building: THE PLAY AIN'T OVER UNTIL THE WHISTLE BLOWS! 🔥

⚔️ OFFENSIVELY, Ryland brought that same energy to the offensive line. He was making blocks, moving bodies, and opening holes for our running backs to get through! The offensive line doesn't always get the spotlight, but when those holes open up, somebody up front did their job!

This young man STEPPED IT UP BIG TIME this game. The growth, effort, physicality, and determination were there for everybody to see.

That's why there's no question about it...

🏆🐕 RYLAND IS OUR 8U BREAKOUT DOG OF THE WEEK! 🐕🏆

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep getting better. This is only the beginning!

🐆🔥 EFFINGHAM JAGUARS 8U — DEFENSIVE DOGS OF THE WEEK! 🔥🐆

This week we got TWO BIG DOGS who stepped up and made their presence felt on defense — TYLER & HUNTER! 💪🏾🏈

🔒 TYLER — CORNERBACK

Tyler made his debut at corner, and this young man showed us exactly what HEART, EFFORT & RELENTLESS PURSUIT look like!

On one of the biggest plays of the game, one of the opposing team’s fastest players broke loose across the field. Tyler could have given up on the play — BUT BIG DOGS DON'T QUIT!

He turned on the jets and chased him CLEAN ACROSS THE FIELD, closing the distance and missing the tackle by INCHES! Even though he didn't make the tackle, there was no doubt that this was one of the highlights of the game.

Why? Because that play showed EFFORT! It showed HEART! It showed a young man refusing to quit until the play was over!

🎯 HUNTER — MIDDLE LINEBACKER

Hunter stepped up in the middle and showed why that position has to bring some ATTITUDE to the defense!

On a called blitz, Hunter attacked the backfield, got pe*******on, and put himself in position to RECOVER THE FUMBLE! That's what happens when you play aggressive, trust your assignment, and get to the football.

Hunter made his presence felt and showed that he is becoming a force in the middle of this Jaguars defense! 🐆💥
