The first guest for From The Bench is our 2020 draft pick - Cody Kettler. He spent a little bit of time speaking with NRHL President Matt Wiedenhoeft.

From The Bench is the National Roller Hockey League's newest interview series with current NRHL drafted and training camp invited players. The NRHL will also be setting up interviews with former RHI players.

MCM: Jack Combs was drafted by Vipers in the 2nd round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT. Jack played for the DEL this past season & represented Team USA at the word championships.

SEASON TICKET MEMBERSHIPS HONORED FOR 2021 The National Roller Hockey League (NRHL) announced the 2020 season would be postponed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic on March 26, 2020. This decision has impacted each of the Season Ticket Members for the NRHL teams.

With the fourth pick in the 7th and FINAL round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT, the St. Louis Vipers select John Schiavo - Forward. John Schiavo, of East Patchogue New York, is a pro roller hockey veteran most recently playing for Black Ice. John has played with Team USA and won gold medals in both IIHF in 2017 and The World Roller Games in 2019. Schiavo is also in his 5th professional ice hockey season. Beginning with the New York Islanders prospect camps in 2015 & 2016. John currently plays with the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL. Schiavo won the SPHL President’s Cup in 2019 with the Havoc.

As we continue to prepare for the start of the season, we have a lot of exciting news to share with you guys. Be on the lookout for a huge announcement coming later this week!

With the fourth pick in the 6th round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT, the St. Louis Vipers select Cody Page - Defenseman.
Cody played college roller hockey at Lindenwood University. Page played for RPD with fellow draftees – Spezia, Kile, Kettler, Novak and Krogman – prior to joining the Mudcats. Cody represented his country playing for TEAM USA at the FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships in Junior and Men’s divisions.

That concludes the sixth round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT. The seventh and final round will commence next Saturday @ 7pm.

With the fourth pick in the 5th round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT, the St Louis Vipers select Tommy Bruce - Defenseman.
Tommy played college roller hockey at Lindenwood University. He has played for the Mission Snipers winning multiple National Championships. Tommy represented his country playing for TEAM USA at the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championships in 2008.

Vipers General Manager Named St. Louis - The St. Louis Vipers are pleased to announce Charley Watson has been named the team's General Manager. Charley will be overseeing all of the business operations as the General Manager of the Vipers. He shall build a front office team and work with the coaching staff where desired.

Cody played D1-college roller hockey Lindenwood University. Kettler is 2-time NCRHA college roller hockey National Champion with Lindenwood University. Cody played for Alkali RPD for many seasons. Kettler is also a 3-time World Champion with Team USA Roller Hockey playing at the Inline Hockey World Championships.

PJ is currently playing in the French Ligue Elite. Kavaya played junior ice hockey in the NAHL before beginning a NCAA career with the Western Michigan Broncos. He played his last season college ice hockey at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. PJ is a world class roller hockey player represented his country playing for TEAM USA at the IIHF & FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships.

With the fourth pick in the 2nd round of the 2020 NRHL DRAFT, we select Jack Combs - Forward.
Jack is currently playing in the DEL-2 with the Bad Nauhheim EC after starting the season the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL. Jack played last season in the SWISS-A after two seasons in the DEL. Combs played for the Worcester Sharks, Hartford Wolf Pack, San Antonio Rampage and other AHL franchises, as well teams in the ECHL. Jack’s ice hockey career includes the OHL, ECHL, AHL, DEL, SWISS-A and attended NHL training camps. Combs has also represented his country playing for TEAM USA at the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championships.

With the fourth pick in the 2020 NRHL DRAFT, the St. Louis Vipers select Shane Fox - Defenseman.
Shane is two-time NCRHA - National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association D1 Champion at Neumann University. He has won multiple National Championships with Black Ice & Snipers. Shane has also represented his country playing for TEAM USA at the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championships.

The 2020 NRHL Draft starts in 4 days. The first round is this Saturday. Each team will select their first overall pick. Who will be the first pick in our team’s NRHL history?
