🔥 FINDING ANOTHER GEAR. 🔥

Lately, I’ve been pushing myself harder to be more consistent with work.

Not because every day is easy. Not because I wake up feeling 100%. But because I refuse to let the hard days dictate what I’m capable of.

Some days take more effort. Some days take more grit. And some days, simply showing up is the victory.

That’s what consistency is about. Showing up. Putting in the work. Pushing through. Doing it again tomorrow.

I’m not chasing perfection I’m building discipline.

One day. One shift. One step at a time.

I’m finding another gear. And I’m not letting off. 💪🔥

But here’s my question for you:

What’s something you’ve been pushing yourself harder to be consistent with lately? 👇

Sometimes your body tells you you’re done.

Your mind says you’ve got nothing left.

But every now and then… you find another gear.

Not because it suddenly gets easier.
Not because the pain disappears.
But because you’ve decided that your purpose is bigger than your struggle.

Living with a chronic condition has taught me that strength isn’t about never getting tired. It’s about showing up anyway. It’s about finding that extra ounce of determination when every part of you wants to quit.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to be pain-free.
You just have to keep moving forward.

Life isn’t measured by the hard days—it’s measured by the moments that make them worth pushing through. 💙

From concerts to splash pads and everything in between, these are the memories that remind us we’re so much more than our diagnosis.

Keep making memories. Keep finding joy. Keep living.

If you are struggling and in need of some advice feel free to message us at any time !!!

Lately, my posts haven’t felt like me, and I owe you all an honest explanation.

I’ve always believed my purpose is to encourage others to keep going, especially through life’s hardest moments. But somewhere along the way, I forgot something just as important: you can’t pour from an empty cup.

I needed to spend some time taking care of myself not because I was giving up, but because I wanted to become the best version of myself. Healing, growing, and refocusing weren’t signs of weakness. They were necessary.

The good news? I’m back.

I’m coming back with more passion, more purpose, and a renewed commitment to this community. Everything I’ve been working through has only strengthened my belief that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish it’s what allows you to truly be there for others.

Thank you for sticking with me, even when my content was inconsistent . Your support has meant more than you know.

This is just the beginning of a new chapter for OH VOY. Together, we’ll keep proving that no matter what life throws at us, we can move beyond the diagnosis, beyond the setbacks, and keep thriving.

Let’s get back to making a difference. ❤️

Life with chronic illness can make it easy to focus on everything you’re fighting through. But today wasn’t about appointments, migraines, or setbacks it was about being present.

A day at the ballpark is a reminder that even when life gets tough, there are still moments worth celebrating. The laughter, the atmosphere, the crack of the bat, and the memories made along the way.

No matter what challenges you’re facing, don’t forget to make time for the things that bring you joy.

Thriving Looks Different

People often think thriving means everything is perfect.

But sometimes thriving looks like showing up anyway.

It looks like making memories on the water, laughing with the people you love, and being present even when life has been heavy. It looks like choosing joy in the middle of uncertainty. It looks like embracing the moments that remind you why you keep pushing forward.

At OH VOY, we believe thriving isn’t about having a perfect life or a perfect diagnosis. It’s about finding purpose, connection, and gratitude despite the challenges.

Some days survival is the victory.
Some days growth is the victory.
And some days, making memories with the people who matter most is the victory.

The last several months haven’t been easy.

Between dealing with chronic health issues, migraines, medical appointments, work stress, financial pressures, and trying to be the best person , friend, and employee I can be, there have been days when simply making it through the day felt like a victory.

I’ve had moments where I felt overwhelmed, discouraged, and exhausted. Some days I had to focus on getting through the next hour instead of worrying about the next week.

But one thing I’ve learned is that progress isn’t always a straight line.

Lately, I’ve been making a conscious effort to get back on track. Taking things one day at a time. Showing up when I can. Giving myself grace on the hard days and building momentum on the good ones. The struggles are still there, but so is my determination to keep moving forward.

If you’re dealing with a chronic illness, a medical condition, mental exhaustion, financial stress, family responsibilities, or life in general, know that you’re not alone. Sometimes strength isn’t about pushing harder it’s about refusing to quit.

Nobody really talks about what it’s like dealing with life in general on top of a chronic illness or ongoing medical condition.

Not completely falling apart.
Not magically “better” either.

Just:
managing symptoms,
going to work anyway,
pretending you’re fine in public,
canceling plan,
trying not to spiral,
and celebrating the small wins nobody else notices.

Some days the goal Isn’t to push yourself hard.
It’s just making it through the day without your body or mind fighting you the whole time.

That still counts.

If you need advice, support, or just someone to talk to — feel free to reach out.

Picking yourself back up after a rough period isn’t about suddenly becoming okay again.

It’s the small things.

Getting out of bed.
Answering texts.
Laughing again.
Making it through the day without feeling completely drained.

When you’ve been in pain for a long time, you don’t rebuild yourself overnight.

You rebuild in small moments.

So if you’re still tired while trying to heal, be patient with yourself.

You’ve been carrying a lot.

Bad week?

Same.

You know the kind where your body wakes up already mad at you, your plans fall apart before noon, and even “taking it easy” somehow feels like too much?

Yeah. One of those.

But here’s your reminder- a bad week doesn’t mean a constant cycle . It just means your body and brain are running a different program right now and you’re doing your best inside it.

So if today looks like:

* doing less
* moving slower
* canceling things
* or just surviving the basics

That still counts. That still matters.

We don’t need to “bounce back” perfectly.
We just need to keep showing up in whatever way we can.

Even if that version of you is tired, frustrated, and over it.

Especially then.
