Gateway Lions were triumphant over Max Reps 5-2.

The Lions 🦁 tied Game 2 in the bottom of the second thanks to a ground out by ANDRE BRICENO, and a triple by JACOB SANTANA.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Lions went back into the lead after CESAR VIZCAINO singled, SANTANA walked, and JHON VELASQUEZ walked, each scoring one run.

ISIDRO SANTOS pitched three and two-thirds innings and gave up zero hits and zero runs while, striking out seven and walking three. DOSTIN PEREZ started on the bump for the Lions. The starter surrendered five hits and two runs over one and one-third innings, striking out three and walking one. #1 started the game for Max Reps. The starter surrendered six hits and five runs over four innings, striking out five and walking five.

JOSE TEJEIRA, VIZCAINO, JOSE MENDEZ, LUIS PAULINO, SANTOS, and SANTANA each collected one hit. SANTANA led Gateway with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-1 on the day.
