Went to Somerset County Kartway Saturday night!

Ran Clone 360 and Clone 330 —
Clone 360 ➡️ DNF due to kart issues
Clone 330 ➡️ 1st place 🏁!!

We are glad to announce that Marissa will be racing in the 7th Annual Maple City Clone Clash! Thank you guys.

The first win of the season goes to Bob🏁Congratulations!

Went to Mountain State Motor Speedway on 6-27 and ran Clone 350. Qualified 5th out of 10 and gained a lot of speed in the feature, making my way up to 3rd. Unfortunately, I ended up spinning out, started last, and made my way back up to 3rd. Due to cutting the corners, I ended up with a DNF on the last two laps of the race, but it was a very fast and fun night of racing! The next day 6-28, we made the trip to Little Pennsboro Speedway. Started 7th and made my way to 4th for the heat race. Then started 4th for the feature and made my way to 3rd place! It was a great weekend for Burris's Racing! Would like to thank Bob for all his help in getting more speed out of the kart each weekend and for everything he does!

Our Racing season has started alittle late for us but we are happy to get back into racing! Saturday we went to Somerset County Kartway and marissa ran clone 360 & clone 360 money race. She started 1st in the heat race for clone 360 and lead some laps and finished 4th place. For the feature she started 8th out of 12 and unsure of what place she got but had some issues with the kart handling. In clone 360 money race she started 6th and placed 4th. For the feature she started 8th out of 16 and was making good progress in the race until had some more kart handling issues and came off. Overall for the 1st race of the year for us , it was a great way to start it off! Hope to have a good season and make our way into victory lane soon!
Would like to give a special thank you to Jim and Jimmy Redmond for helping with getting the kart together and Eric Dalton for all his help at the track. Also big thankyou to Evan for being apart of the pit crew and Bob even though he wasn’t able to be there tonight he was great help through the phone giving us all the tips and tricks to gain more speed as the night went on!

As the racing season comes to an end , we have not had the best season that we wanted to but still made the best of it! We didn’t get to hit up as many races as we usually do but we made the best out of all the experience and tracks we have made it to this year! Even though we had motor problems all year we still gained knowledge , and found things to improve on. Would like to thank all my sponsors who have supported us this year and thanks to all our followers!This coming season we hope to be more up to date in posting and keeping everyone updated as the 2025 racing season approaches. Bob went to Somerset County Kartway yesterday and ran clone 400. Due to him having motor issues all night he dnf. But he will be back at it soon! Thankyou everyone who supports us🏁!
