The ones who make friends with other team siblings and run off to play tag on the other side of the outfield fence.

The ones who make you go broke at the concession stand because they're hungry even though they ate lunch five minutes ago.

The ones who barely pay attention but then cheer like heck when their sibling makes a big play, and who are the first to run to them for a hug at the end of the game.

We see you, too, little ones.

And when it’s your turn to be out in the spotlight for whatever sport or activity you choose, you’ll get all that same love and support right back.

Just something to ponder as we all are trying to teach kids about the game that’s played on the rinks and also the game of life. Everyone wants to excel, and ultimately feel the joy of the win- but does everyone want to put in the time it takes to get better. Is winning the ultimate goal or learning to take losses to teach the power of WORKING to win?

State Wars Hockey is very excited to announce a new partnership and venture with the USA Inline National Development Program (NDP). Our combined goal is to help identify and develop players of potential world class ability and prepare them for international competition. "As head coach for the Team USA Senior Mens team, I personally want to see players and families all across the United States educated about the USA program and give players an avenue to represent their country at future international events" said Tim McManus.

Starting this summer at State Wars we will offer the first ever USA Inline National Development Program Showcase event. As shown in the map below, we have divided the country into West, Central, and East regions. Players who are playing at State Wars may be selected to represent one of these regions in this showcase and recognized as some of the top players their age in the country. The 2024 CarShield Blast evaluations have begun. What an explosive night of interest and talent last night. Thank you all for attending. There’s still more skates scheduled. . It’s thawing outside, which means the new season of roller hockey is here - The Boys/Girls of summer have arrived. Are you READY?

The 2024 CarShield evaluations are set. We can’t wait to share another season of hockey with you all. Speaking of seasons – this is year number 30 for our club!!! We will be celebrating the game, past players  and current players all season long. What a journey it has been🙌🙌. Come out to see what we are all about.

We focus on player growth through on rink instruction, hard work, teamwork , player responsibility, and on instilling pride and confidence in each and every player. Off the Rink families bond with each other to create lifelong friendships. The memories made off the rink are just as important as the ones made at the final buzzer. It’s one of the games of life that’s a privilege to be a part of. Let’s go!

Another week, another opportunity 🏒CarShield Blast roller hockey Preskate is set for Wednesday, February 7th from 6:00-7:00pm. This week is for 8u and 10u ( 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). Take advantage to get some skates in before evaluations start later this month. See you on the floor

Coming up next week, Wednesday January 31st will be another CarShield Blast preskate. This will be for 12u/14u or birth years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. This is a free skate. We invite all players and skill levels interested in the program and our summer travel teams.
