🇺🇸I just love when my Pinterest board comes to life. Finding this table runner (very similar to one I had been eyeing online) for $3 yesterday was the motivation I needed to clean off my dining table + bring a more minimalist look to the space!

Do you guys plan out your decor before you head to the thrift store? I promise it makes a difference to have a vision of what you’re looking for before you go in! Helps avoid thrift overwhelm & honestly trains your eye to find something you’re looking for! I do this often before I head to the thrift store & I promise you, I often find what I’m searching for in just a couple trips!

Was it a passion project or the only way their family would have a warm blanket to sleep with during winter months? Something about the stories these pieces hold makes them even more special and beautiful to me.

❤️Believe me when I tell you that I’m the first one to say “we need more” or “this space can use more”. Sometimes it’s nice to refresh a space and instead of adding to it, use less to freshen things up!

This sideboard has seen many seasons and many decor changes- but something about this simple display makes the whole room feel lighter! I feel like this sideboard is my adult equivalent of redecorating my bedroom- I do it about as frequently as I rearranged my room as a pr***en & it brings about the same sense of accomplishment and “fresh-start” as the bedroom Tetris did back then! What’s an area of your home that you frequently rearrange?

✨Had to give the tulips a moment before we switched them out for the Summer hydrangeas today. Something about having all your thrifted pieces come together, it’s magic! I can’t wait to style this space for summer- I’m thinking classic Americana ✨ stay tuned for the reveal!
