Happy Birthday Jett!

Loaded up the 28j and the 88 and headed to Benton Speedway last night.

The 88 was driven by Danny Hicks (Gavin's dad). Danny was last in a kart competitively over 10 years ago.

He started our heat race on the front row and I had to start in the back due to a bad pill draw. Missed my set-up on the 28j but apparently had it just right on the 88. Danny went on to win the heat with me finishing third. (Gavin won his heat race too!)

Made some adjustments to the 28j and took the lead a few laps into the Feature and came home with the win. Danny finished behind me in second.

(Gavin was the winner in his feature too)

Made another trip to Benton Speedway last night and picked up a win in the 28j PRC Seraph! Billy Klein was the victim of a rough driving incident earlier in the night but still managed to pull off a second place in the Feature (somewhere way back behind me)! 😂😂😂

Also, had a blast hanging out with kiddos from Littrell Motorsports (even though they wouldn't share their popcorn!)

Billy will be missed by many, but forgotten by none!

We truly enjoyed our partnership in promoting flat kart racing over the last five years we worked with you! You were an asset to our organization and your contributions are immeasurable!

We had a decent night last night!

The #88 was driven by Steve Wilson (or, Liam's dad, as he is better known) in the Predator Division 1 class. He had a decent run in the heat (not sure of finish though). Made some air pressure adjustments for the Feature and he and Austin Capps put on one heck of a show battling for third when they made contact on the last lap and caused both to spin. Just a racing deal, all smiles after the race and everyone had fun!

Joe was able to capture his third Feature win of the year in the Predator Division 2 class after struggling earlier in the night due to a bad pill draw (as usual). Hopefully, one of these days, he'll get a better pill draw and have an easier night before he retires (as a driver) at the end of this season.

Billy Ray (the only guy out there older than Joe) picked up his first Feature win of the year in the RWYB Small Block Class! 👍🏼

And our buddy Gunner Hartman , who's dad (Butch) was "fired" from driving full time for our team the last two years, finally got his first Feature win for 2023 in the 206 karts! 👍🏼
