About BOXSTL Promotions

BOXSTL was formed in 2018 as an organization to promote amateur boxing for the youth in the City of St. Louis, along with the St. Louis Police Department Athletic League Boxing program (P.A.L).

As part of the promotions and boxing program the youth are all taught life skills while in the program and while working at the boxing events.

The President / CEO Anthony M. Anderson Sr. is retired St. Louis Police officers after 20 years of faithful service to the citizens of St. Louis. His goal was to keep the youth out of the juvenile detention system and out of the local jails while he was a police officer. This is where he formed the slogan of his organization “We Fill Gym’s Not Jails”, which has caught the attention of many around the United States.

Mr. Anderson has been the head boxing coach for the P.A.L. Boxing team for the past 10 years and continues to strive to keep the youth on the right track.
