Gateway Region Volleyball

It’s coming… July 12th, 1-3pm @ Legacy VTC.

Last summer Gateway hosted the largest region hosted camp and we expect nothing less, again, in 2026. Registration will be opening soon and you’ll want to secure a spot for your kiddo(s) right away. So, keep checking in for that announcement but, until then, save the date!

Gateway was well represented at the Adult Nationals over the past week in Orlando!

We enjoyed watching all the live feeds from the athletes and even caught a few exciting highlights posted by USAV — including watching Dat Ace Doe take the Silver in the Women’s AA division. So much skill and grit across the teams.

Congratulations, everyone!! There’s no doubt you had a blast on and off the court.

It’s that exciting time of the year when there’s volleyball everywhere you look! Indoor has Nationals and All Stars on the calendar while outdoor Jr Beach and Adult Grass bid events are overlapping with the kick off their seasons.

The AVCA Men's College Coaches Recruiting Panel achieved outstanding success, providing invaluable insights for emerging volleyball talent during their educational presentation earlier this week. The panel (consisting of coaches from NCAA, NAIA, and Two-Year College divisions) answered questions about recruiting for high school athletes, parents, club and high school coaches as well as addressed topics including: academic criteria, scholarship opportunities by division, communication between coaches and prospects, sharing video, and much more.

How is it already the last Gateway hosted tournament of the season and your last chance to “pink out” in support of our region wide Perfect Pass campaign this weekend?

It’s been incredible watching teammates, coaches, parents, and spectators come together to bring awareness and show support for their loved ones at various events over the past few months. Thank you for making this inaugural year a memorable one. We can’t wait to see everyone at the Donna Mayer Bid Event and also see where support efforts land as we make a final push to reach our goal. (It’s fitting that we come to a close at the tournament that honors someone who was known for her great love for not only the sport but the community around it.) You have been amazing and good luck, everyone!

Wanted to pass on an opportunity for a coaches clinic. The clonic will be located at Lindenwood University on May 16th and run by Andrea Beaty-Cain, Head Coach of the SLU Billikens with Will Condon, Head Coach of the Lindenwood Lions. The clinic will run from 9:30-4:00pm with a break for lunch. It will feature both classroom and on court sessions. The main topics of the clinic will be practice and drill management, practice planning and will feature some of our favorite drills.
