Our friends at Metro Milers Running Clubin Edwardsville are looking for some help with their 20th Annual Route 66 10K on June 13 and the St. Louis Track Club will be there to help! If you're not running the race (and we highly recommend that you do, as it's close to selling out, and SLTC members get a discount!) you can sign up to be a course marshal.

This event designed to test your mettle on some of the most rugged terrain in the area. Expect rocks, boulders, and quad-crushing climbs that will have you shouting, "This is B.S.!"

Some things never go out of style. Since the '70s, St. Louis runners have been testing their internal clocks in the St. Louis Track Club's annual Pace Series. 🕰️🏃

This summer, we’re keeping the half-century tradition alive, and we want you to be a part of the next generation of Pace Series participants. No gadgets, no data screens — just you, the roads of Forest Park, and a community that’s been running together for decades.

If you've never done a pace run before, this is your sign to try something completely different this summer. It's casual, it's friendly, and it's the perfect mid-week challenge. Runners and walkers of all paces and ages are welcome -- we even provide snacks!

The Details:
Dates: Every Wednesday beginning June 10 through Sept. 23 (16 weeks)
Start: Walkers @ 6 PM, Runners @ 6:15 PM
Distance: Varies weekly (3K to 4.2 miles)
Cost: $1 per run
Where: Most courses start on Grand Drive east of the Forest Park Visitor's Center. Check each week's map for details.

There's no pre-registration cost (just bring $1 in cash to the run), but we do need you to sign a waiver and join our email list (all series communication is done through email). Check out the link in the comments below to join the list. A limited number of Pace Series performance tanks will be available for purchase at each run -- they're just $24 each!

We're so stoked -- registration for the Summer Trail Series has been open for just four days and we're already about a third of the way to our participant cap! Y'all love a trail series, and we're happy to oblige.

If you haven't signed up, be sure to do it ASAP! Series participants get a soft T-shirt and medal included in their registration. All registrations get you access to our post-race hotdog cookout and ice-cold beverages!

The Trail Series has distances from 8K (~5 miles) down to 4K (~2.5 miles), and if you do every race, you'll experience all the trails Castlewood has to offer. Come on out and join us for some singletrack fun!
