TeamBOR is shocked and saddened to hear that one of our own has had a tragic accident and needs your help. Tim Johanns is an amazing friend and teammate and you already know that if you have ever raced with him, or even against him. We are asking our adventure racing community to reach out to each other nationwide, or even worldwide to help share this fundraiser for Tim. Tim is the ideal adventure racer teammate that does whatever you ask of him and does it with a smile and with all his physical, mental, and spiritual strength to do the absolute best he can for his teammates. Please pray and send your support to Tim. If you can, donate, please share the gofundme, pray. God speed my brother!

I didn’t have time to post anything else until now. I stayed at Jeff City after I pushed too hard and was having terrible shoulder pain. I did some stretching, foam rolling, took ibuprofen, and slept for two hours. Robert and I came up with a quick plan to test out my shoulder and with good as could be expected results I headed out right into a night that would have submerged wing dikes and fog. I had to stop several times for safety. I continued on and crossed the finish line before 1 AM Friday morning. I’m writing this at 3 AM and am extremely exhausted, so hopefully this makes sense and my grammar isn’t terrible.

HUGE THANK YOU TO Cassie Bart, Robert Bart, & Tanya Shaw for crewing for me. There is absolutely no way I could have finished without their hard work. I’ll post more pictures later today if I wake up.

MR340 is getting closer.

Meramec Pacific Palisades to Mini HaHa. 32 miles of very slow moving water. I saw 0-1.8 mph current on my Garmin. Sometimes the headwind moved the water backwards. Very hard paddle. MR340 training. If the Missouri is moving that slow we won’t make it.

A few BORs enjoying the Bentonville bliss. Dave isn’t really dead, just a photo op.
