This past weekend we participated in the Beach.com World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup at our beloved Siesta Key Beach. It was an eye opener to see how much gets left behind and I would hope by now it's unintentional. More than 300 lbs. of trash collected in just 2 hours of volunteer cleanup. A little of our time goes a long way.

Came across this blog post from Trello, a task management software tool we use at Engage Sports for managing software releases. I was intrigued by the article for work rated interests but after reading felt like I had to share with our sports audience. The article demonstrates if we teach our youth at a young age the power of positive self talk they realize the impact it will have on them with regard to sports, their education and their professional future. Making for a mentally healthy and productive individual is what our main objective should be as a parent, coach, educator and employer. Words are powerful no matter who is delivering them.
