12/3/2023 - The final goal for our team! Fitting that it was started by and finished by two players who were with us on day one. Lauryn plays in the free kick that Kayli knocks down out of the air for Kylie H to control. Kylie finds Kayli in space before a nice finish before the defender could recover.

It's subtle, but this one reminds me of one of my favorite Cruyff quotes: "People often confuse speed with insight. See, when I start running sooner, I appear faster." Kayli spotted the space and started her run while the defender was still watching the ball (for a split second too long). By the time the defender recognizes the danger, it's too late.

12/2/2023 - Kylie O with pressure to force a long pass before she was ready, Gillian with the interception and finds Kelsey cutting in from the wing, Kelsey with a nice through ball to send Anna in behind the defense and Anna with a cool finish to the open near post.

11/11/2023 - Nice bit of combination play in the midfield between Kayli, Kylie O and Anna before Anna springs Kylie loose in behind the defense. Kylie does a great job to hold off her defender before firing a shot over the keeper at the near post.

11/5/2023 - After a handball in the box from a corner kick, OG steps up to slot the penalty home. I believe she was perfect from the spot on the season.

11/5/2023 - From a short goal kick, Kayli forces her opponent backwards and into a blind pass. Kylie O intercepts the pass and finds Anna with a little space. Anna with one touch to control and a second touch to finish.

11/5/2023 - Kylie O intercepts the long goal kick, wins the race to the loose ball, and fires an amazing one time shot from an impossible angle to score. The bench behind us happened to be looking that way at the start of their halftime and erupted in cheers!

11/3/2023 - Kylie O turns her defender inside out in the box before ripping a shot to the far post. After her shot is blocked, Kayli steps in to knock it home.

11/3/2023 - OG finds Kayli in space during the build out. Kayli combines with Kylie O to get in behind the defense. Kayli takes advantage of the space to cut inside to goal before beating the keeper to the near post. Kyra there for insurance though she later said "it was already over the line, but I was just making sure!".

11/3/2023 - Anna applies some pressure to limit passing options and invite the pass into a crowd. Kylie H intercepts and finds Anna in space, and Anna alertly plays it over the keeper from distance before she could recover.
