WANT TO PERFORM BETTER NEXT YEAR? START HERE!
TOWER TALK - JUNE 1
Welcome to this week's edition of Tower Talk, your weekly source for all things Lindbergh Activities and Athletics. As we continue through the summer months, our students, coaches, sponsors, and programs remain hard at work preparing for another outstanding year ahead.
As we head into the summer months and begin preparing for the 2026-27 school year, many of our students will spend countless hours in the weight room, on the practice field, in the gym, in the pool, on the stage, or working on their craft. Those things matter. But one area that often gets overlooked is mental performance training.
The best athletes, performers, musicians, leaders, and students understand that success isn't just about physical preparation. It's also about developing confidence, focus, resilience, leadership, and the ability to respond positively when things don't go your way.
This summer, be sure to work on more than your physical skills.
How do you respond to adversity?
Can you stay focused when things get difficult?
How do you handle setbacks?
Are you becoming a stronger leader and teammate?
What are you doing to prepare for pressure situations?
Every season and performance will bring challenges. Every performer will face nerves. Every student will encounter obstacles. The students who continue to grow are often the ones who have prepared mentally for those moments before they arrive. Physical preparation gets you ready to compete and perform. Mental preparation helps you perform when it matters most.
As we work toward another great year at Lindbergh, let's continue developing the whole student by investing not only in our bodies, but also in our minds. Below you can find a list of great resources that will help support these efforts. These amazing resources are geared towards our students and supporting them to help them achieve their goals and compete at a high level.
