Sullivan Names New Head Boys Basketball Coach
Sullivan, MO, May 20th, 2026:
Sullivan High School is pleased to announce that Austin Berti has been selected to be the next head boys basketball coach. Berti brings in experience within the Sullivan program as he has served as an assistant for ten seasons.
A graduate of Sullivan, MO, Berti attended Meramec Community College where he participated in baseball. He currently resides in Sullivan with his wife, Jessica, and three kids. Sullivan High School Activities Director Cody Davis said, “Coach Berti will be a great addition as a head coach to our school and community. He is passionate about player development and dedicated to seeing the program succeed on and off the court.” When asked what he is looking forward to, Coach Berti said, “I look forward to building a program founded in positive relationships, toughness, and a commitment to high standards.” In addition, he stated, “Sullivan has a rich tradition in basketball and I look forward to partnering with the community to develop excitement not only at the high school, but also for future Eagles players.”
The Eagles will look to build on their previous season. They start the 2026 season in the 13th annual FCNB Bank-It Championship hosted by Sullivan High School.
