Alli Jenkins 2024 MI/Util Committed Alert Missouri Baptist University Disclaimer long and sappy post!
To say I am proud of this young lady would be a tremendous understatement. When she tried out for our team I told her that I wasn't sure if I could even give her any time on the field. She never wavered and never stopped working and trusted the process. within one season went from a nonstarter batting 9th to our starting 2nd base and even batting leadoff at times. Then the following year became our starting SS and batting in the top of the order consistently. In that time, she learned to trust me and the process and became far more than a player she became a beloved member of not only our team but our family! Alli, We love you kiddo and can't wait to see you follow your dreams and do AMAZING thing in life. You will always be a part of our family and are always welcome for mickey mouse pancakes. Coach Ted you are getting one of the best and know she will do GREAT thing for you.

Now that I have had a couple days to reflect on this past season the statement "The Hard is what makes it GREAT" comes to mind. We asked these ladies way back in January when winter training started that if they worked hard, they could do anything they wanted to do. There were definitely ups and downs thru the season. We beat some incredible teams we shouldn't have, and we lost to some teams we shouldn't have. We asked them to grind in out multiple weeks in a row on the road playing some of the very best talent we could find and thru it all they kept grinding and believed in the process. We got knocked into the loser bracket because of a rain shorted game 3-2. They could have easily given up due to the bad luck, but the next morning all I heard was Coach it is only 4 games back to the Championship we got this! In this team's true fashion, they did just that and made it all the back. We lost 3-2 in the championship game in the bottom of the 7th inning we made them beat us and they did their job so hats off to the OK Pryme! To my Seniors Morgan, Marissa, Alyssa, Celia, and Ella. Thank you and I LOVE you all! To all my assistant Coaches Jason, Matt, and Stacey I could never have done this without you by my side constantly talking match ups and positioning we didn't always agree, but we always pushed forward! To all my returning players it time to reload and go finish what we started!!
