General information

PMI was founded in 1988 by the former President of
Covenant Theological Seminary, Dr. Robert G. Rayburn, to assist Christian nationals graduating from the seminary in returning to their developing home countries to begin their evangelistic, church-planting, leadership training and holistic ministries. Over the two decades of its development, PMI has also incorporated both international couples and missionaries who return to more developed countries. PMI remains committed to the original ideals of partnering with well-trained and Reformed Christian nationals who are able to minister as cultural insiders and in ways that usually require much less financial support than western missionaries.
