New article up on the Spoked Bikes Blog. How Mid South gravel left an impression and the rebirth of the Cannondale Topstone Carbon by TW Carbon.
Mid South 2020 - A beautiful disaster — Spoked Bikes & Stuff I remember standing in the crowd near the stage as Bobby Wintle started the pre-race meeting. Most pre-race meetings last about 10 minutes, and are very utilitarian, with the sole purpose of communicating pertinent safety information such as dangerous turns, construction, SAG support, etc. And of

We don't need to tell you that times are tough. Explorer's Press was always one of our favorite brands at the shop. A lot of small businesses are struggling and having to make very difficult decisions right now. Please support the little guys. They have the most on the line right now and your dollars go a long way. Thanks.
Hey everyone, here goes nothing. I think it is time to start winding things down for Explorer’s. The last 7 years have been so wild - this brand has given me so many opportunities and amazing experiences, helped me better myself and meet so many amazing people. All of the markets, pop ups, and folks coming through the studios, it was all so much fun and felt like it would never end.
The last few years haven’t felt as magical - it has been more of a grind, partly because the brand landscape has changed so much, and partly I think because my heart just hasn’t been in it 100%.
Most of the business over the last 2 years has come from wholesale accounts ordering for their brick and mortar locations. With the impending closures all around the world, I don’t know how long I can keep the brand going for.
For now, I think the best thing to do is try to liquidate the remaining stock and try to keep myself above water, so everything in the online store is 40% off until it’s gone - no code or anything.
Orders will be packed with extras, and free shipping in North America has come down to $45 from $75. Please DM or email if you are looking for something specific that isn’t in stock any more and I will try to dig through the archives to find it for you! All the best, stay sane and healthy ♥️ -Brendan

Trailnet is working on a huge project to create a protected bike "cycle track" on Tower Grove and Vandeventer. An important part of the process is resident feedback. Please take a second and give us your $.02.
Act today to support a protected bike lane on Tower Grove Ave. and Vandeventer!
Public comment on a federal construction grant for this project closes TOMORROW and we want your help to support this important safety improvement for one of the city's busiest bike routes.
You can join our committed partners who have already done so much to support this project: Missouri Botanical Garden, Cortex Innovation Community, Annie Rice, 8th Ward Alderwoman, Alderwoman Marlene Davis, Alderman Joe Roddy, Lochmueller Group, DTLS Landscape Architecture, and SWT Design.
