Huge congrats to Jamie for absolutely crushing her second half marathon in just 6 weeks, especially on a classic humid St. Louis day! 🔥
Jamie is a force.
Since joining Laura’s roster in 2023, she’s steadily built through multiple marathon cycles, and this season she’s shifted gears to focus on shorter distances with incredible success. Just 5 weeks ago, she broke 2 hours at the Greater St. Louis Half Marathon, and she’s continued to build from there.
Jamie is such a joy to coach. She’s consistent, hardworking, and genuinely loves the process, all while keeping her family first.
We are so proud of you, Jamie. Keep it up!

We are SO proud of our BizDash 5K crew!
BizDash is a corporate wellness event, but anyone who has run it knows the course demands smart pacing and grit with its rolling hills. It’s a race that rewards patience early, strength late, and the ability to compete when things get uncomfortable…. whether with ourselves or with others.
Our athletes showed up and delivered:
• Chris - 20:54, Course PR and sub-21! 🥳
• Kyle - 26:16, paced a friend, used as a tempo workout 💪
• Matt - 18:37, 5K PR 🔥
• Michael - 21:27, Huge improvement from 21:56 last year
• Sean - 22:20, Strong effort during the base-building phase
What makes this especially exciting is that these performances all happened in different seasons of training. PRs, course PRs, and strong effort markers during base phases all matter because progress is not one-size-fits-all.
We’re proud of athletes who trust the process, race with purpose, and keep showing up. Some are sharpening, some are building, and some are testing fitness, and we’re here for all of it.
Big congrats to this crew! 💪

Meet Alex! 2026 Boston Marathon finisher and sub-4 hour marathoner. 👸
When Alex started working with Laura in January of 2022, she actually wasn’t running which makes her story even more impressive.
Her youngest child was born during the pandemic and between the two kids and my job she was struggling to get back into a rhythm.
Fast forward to today, and she has certainly found that rhythm again …and so much more.
Alex is such a joy to coach. She’s a hard-worker and she has more potential than she knows. And sub-4 at Boston is just the beginning.
This wasn’t just about one race or one finish line, it’s proof of what can happen when you keep showing up, trust the process, and give yourself a chance to grow.
Congrats Alex! 💛

Meet Hayley - 2026 Boston Marathon Finisher 🌟
Hayley has endless potential.
She started working with Laura in 2024 and after having her daughter last year did a great job of listening to her body while gradually building back.
It’s not a surprise that she ran a nearly even split race on the Boston Marathon course — clocking a 3:36:15 as her first marathon postpartum. She’s not only a strong runner, but she’s a smart runner. That’s evident when you look at both her training and her races.
We’re proud to support Hayley!

Nat’s First Half Marathon 🎉
Taking on a first half marathon is a big step, and Nat did it with confidence from start to finish.
Coach Chris first met Nat in 2025 through a Big River Start Program, where they came in with questions, nerves, and a goal for the 10K. Fast forward to today, and their growth has been incredible.
From Coach Chris:
“It’s been amazing to watch Nat’s confidence grow over time. What started as nerves around a 10K has turned into a strong, confident approach to racing. It’s been a joy to coach them through their first half marathon, and we’re just getting started as they continue working toward bigger goals, including their Disney races.”
From Nat:
“Tackling my first half marathon as a new runner was an amazing experience. I’m incredibly thankful for the guidance and support from Chris, the Filla coaching team, and my fellow Filla athletes (especially Maggie for pacing those miles). Chris’ coaching helped me get to the starting line feeling confident and relaxed. Because of the work we put in together, I had no doubt I would cross the finish line.”
At the Greater St. Louis Marathon, Nat didn’t just complete their first half marathon. Nat exceeded their goal by nearly 9 minutes.
We’re proud to support Nat as part of the Filla Endurance community and excited to see what’s ahead 🤍

Our local athletes had FUN last weekend at the Chain of Rocks 6K 🤘
️
On an unusually hot March day (low of 49, high of 93 - classic St. Louis) we had a blast joining other local run clubs for this community-based event.
Proceeds supported the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, helping fund youth programs and create more equitable access to sport and opportunity.
.AND the setting makes it really special too. Racing across the historic Chain of Rocks Bridge on old Route 66, a landmark with history.
A LOVELY DAY! 😎
Stay tuned for all that lies ahead! ⚡️

Great morning for the team at the Creve Coeur Lake Half Marathon! ⚡️🤘
The wind made it a bit of a grind 😅, and it makes us really proud watching athletes trust their training and see their work pay off despite tough conditions. We practice for a reason and today was the point.
Team highlights from The Creve Coeur St. Paddy’s Half👇
• Nate Foddrill – Half Marathon – 1:13:10 (5:35/mi) - 2nd place overall male 🥈🔥 and a 1-minute PR, on tired legs
• Chris Oleksiw – Half Marathon – 1:36:40 (7:23/mi) - 6+ minute PR - 6th AG
• Missy McCoy – 10K – 49:27 - PR within a long run 😎⚡️- 2nd AG
• Maggie McCoy (coached by Kim) – Half Marathon – 2:06:51 - 5+ minute PR - 15th AG
• Laura Filla – Half Marathon – 1:32🥇 1st AG - Not a PR, but 8th female overall!
It is an honor to be in the trenches with our team. 🫡
Not every race day feels perfect, but it’s inspiring when a coach gets to line up alongside the athletes and watch the team battle tough conditions together. The entire group PR’ing is certainly the cherry on top! 🙌
And a special award goes to Coach Kim Maserang 🐄🔔 - 1st place for crowd support after ringing the cowbell so long she got a blister helping everyone grind through the wind. Thank you so much Kim!
So proud of this crew. On to the next one.
