Adopt A Family USVI

Every year this project makes those of still working on it nervous. We lose sleep, we stress, we manically check the list. But we really should know better, because our group of donors are just the absolute best and this year is no different. As of this morning all gifts for foster kids have been purchased and will make it in time. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ❤️❤️ The foster kids of the USVI thank you for bringing love and light into their Christmas and proving once again you’re love for their home.

Today is Giving Tuesday, a global movement of generosity by giving during the holiday season.

The last couple of years have been tough on just about everyone, but few more so than the people of the Virgin Islands who’s islands were barley recovered before COVID once again shut them down. Our list of kids has substantially grown since the first year we did this so we need your help more than ever to get these kiddos a gift for Christmas. If you are unable to donate please share!!! After some issues with third party vendors and Amazon wishlists everything appears to work now.

Unfortunately that means we lost three very critical days to get these gifts down to St Thomas and into the hands of these kiddos.

Fortunately a lot of items are still on sale for Cyber Monday. We have a long way to go in a very short amount of time, but I know this group and it’s never once failed to break every rule to make sure we come together for those that need us. 🎅🤶IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR!!🎅🤶

Calling all of snatas elves, we have once again been tasked with trying to get kiddos to all kids in St Thomas in foster and/or protective care. This will be our sixth year we have done that program, and thanks to all of you we have covered EVERY child each year; I KNOW we can do it again this year!!

In the spirit of full transparency, I have to tell you all…it’s been five years and every single year when I make this post I cry. Not well up, but full cry.

You folks are just simply amazing. With five days to spare, our foster kid list is CLEAR! Every single child in care will receive a gift this year (as they have the last four) thanks to the generosity of absolute strangers that continue to show up for them year after year. When this organization started our goal was to aid a few dozen families. What we have gotten was a support system of thousands of people from all over the world, from all walks of life that continue to show up over four years later for people who will likely never kmow their name. It’s truly humbling and moving and reminds me every single year of what good people can do when they come together with love in their hearts.

Speaking for every person you’ve sent your love to, including myself, thank you. Thank you will never seems enough, but thank you and happiest of holidays to you all. ❤️🇻🇮🎄

After an extensive conversation with Amazon, I have been advised that the final day to order to insure Christmas deliver to the USVI is Monday, December 6. What the means is that we have only FIVE days to fulfill the remaining FIVE gifts!! I KNOW we can do this. We are so, so close.
