Excellent weekend kickoff. Last night, a client shot this buck, the shot was a little back, and chose to postpone tracking until morning. With the sun rising, I managed to locate the deer after some effort, and we completed the recovery. Great deer!!

Here is the 1st real front of the season! Good luck to everyone, enjoy the next couple of weeks! This is the best 3 weeks of the year.

This weather is actually starting to make a guy want to go hunting! Get out there there next couple of day's! Give me a call if you need help finding that early season kill.

I was pleased to assist Tyler in locating his impressive 10-point buck today. We conducted a 1.5-hour aerial search using the drone, followed by a traditional ground search using blood tracking. Shortly thereafter, we detected a strong odor and found the buck lying in the thicket, with the intense 90° sun having accelerated the decomposition process. Notably, the buck had been shot less than 20 hours prior.

High winds yesterday didnt bother these guys yesterday! This hunter made a long shot in the wind and hit this buck back in the guts. We found it last night and decided to come back and retrieve it in the morning. Its a good thing because he definitely hadn't been expired long. If there is one thing I have learned so far, it is that if you loose blood pretty quick after the shot, odds are its gut shot. BACK OUT!
