About the performer:
Standing at 6’1”, Sarah “Amazon” Ekstrand is an experienced character actress who has performed at birthday parties, special events, fundraisers, conventions and corporate events throughout the midwest for over 9 years. Her credits include performing at 6 Flags St. Louis and 6 Flags Great America. Her background is a mix of cosplay, theatre, dance, martial arts, and working with various age-groups as a teacher. She graduated with her B.A. in dance from Columbia College Chicago, and has worked for their children’s year round and summer programs as a teaching artist -designing and leading dance, cosplay, and art classes. She has also worked as a dance instructor and after school tutor for various Chicago Public schools during her time living there.
