🚨 Race Update for April 11 🚨
New this year: runners can shorten the course by answering trivia questions from Rally along the way.
Correct answer = skip ahead
Wrong answer = keep running 😅
…
April Fools 😆
No shortcuts — just great miles, no matter your distance, and a finish line worth it. 🏁

Training for a race is exciting, but ignoring small warning signs can turn into bigger injuries.
Dr. Caldwell from WashU Medicine, Medical Director of the Greater St. Louis Marathon, reminds runners to pay attention to abnormal pain and discomfort that increases week to week. Gradually building mileage, prioritizing strength training, taking rest days, replacing worn-out shoes, and addressing aches early can help prevent injury.
The goal isn’t just getting to race day. It’s getting there healthy and strong. Listen to your body, build gradually, and take warning signs seriously so you’re confident when you step to the starting line in April.
