Winterland Hockey has 2 Novice Programs that need goalies:

Young Adult/Parent Pond Hockey Program
Creve Coeur Ice Rink - May 30 to July 25, 2026
4:45pm to 6:00pm

Since the program was a great success in 2025 Winterland will again offer our Young Adult program to give adults the opportunity to skate with their siblings that have grown up to be young adults. This will be the second year that Winterland has offered this type program to skaters between 20 and 30 years old and the biggest benefit is we're going to give those skaters the opportunity to skate with their hockey playing parent(s) and/or siblings.

It is a simple 8 week program of 75 minute ice times at Creve Coeur. The program will operate as our normal pond hockey style scrimmages to give everyone an opportunity to have some fun. Each week we'll rotate the rosters a little bit to give everybody a chance to play together. We have a 2 pass policy so we keep everyone involved and everyone knows it's a no check program.

We know that most of the kids(Young Adults) will have played High School hockey and some possibly with a collegiate background. This is not a program for Learn to Play novice skaters.
This will be a solid NovicePLUS situation.

Our goal is to find 12 parent/sibling pairs for 24 skaters and 2 goalies.
But we are also happy to take multiple siblings, too that fit the criteria.

But in the event we can not get the 11 pairs, we would open up the program to other Winterland NovicePLUS members to register as individuals so the program operates.

#37 Monday WG 845p Hockey for all ages!

Winterland is looking for a few more 17U high school players (JV or Varsity Level) to participate in their two High School Age summer programs:

Programs #7 - High School No-Check program for 17U players.
Winterland is happy to offer for the 11th year our High School No-Check Program. This program is a 13 game No-Check Co-ed program for JV and Varsity kids from 15 to 17 years old that are looking for some ice time and a lot of fun. Skaters register and we form teams each week to play so the kids get a chance to meet new friends and play in a safe atmosphere. We will have referees and keep the time clock. Here's the link:

Program #4 - High School Development Program - For over a decade Winterland has been able to offer the local high school skaters an opportunity to skate once a week in a training atmosphere that gives them a chance to work on skills and have fun while doing it.

Through drills and small area games the kids have a chance to apply and improve their fundamental and advanced skill base on a weekly basis. During controlled scrimmages, the skaters have a chance to experiment and apply new skills and techniques learned during training. Hockey is a game of creativity, instinct, skill and hard work. Operation Toy Drop is a go! Come out to the Fenton Ice Arena on Friday, December 12th for some holiday fun and cheer. We're partnering with the Blues Special Hockey - Fundraisers, the Affton Lady Liberty Hockey Club and the local Marine Corps League #184 to raise funds and toys for kids in need this holiday season. It'll be an unforgettable event!

Admission: $10 per Adult, $5 per child (13 years and younger) or 1 unwrapped toy per person.

$5 Chuck-A-Puck will be sold during the evening. Pucks will be thrown during the first intermission of the 2nd Armed Forces game (Approximately 7:30 p.m.). Winner will receive a framed autographed Al MacInnis picture!
