The Athletic Association will be replacing the nets on the basketball hoops at the school parking lot. We hope you and your children can enjoy them more. We ask that you relay to your kids to not dunk and hang on the nets to try and have them last a bit. ENJOY!!

With all going on these days, including the Archbishop suspending Sunday services, we will no longer be having Fish Frys, even for carry out. Please stay healthy and safe and may Peace be with you.

New baseball uniforms will be arriving soon. We will be holding a uniform exchange next Thursday, Apr 11th from 6-8pm in the StJPII school cafeteria (old St. Dominic campus). Please bring your basketball uniforms for turn in and pick up a baseball uniform if you're playing baseball this season with StJPII.

Reminder, uniform exchange tonight from 6-7 in the SDS cafeteria (for those that still need to turn in your child’s baseball/softball uniforms and pick up a soccer/volleyball uniform).

Uniform pick-up nights have been finalized:
Sun July 29 SDS Cafeteria 6-8pm
Mon July 30 SDS Cafeteria 6-8pm
Sun Aug 5 SDS Cafeteria 6-7pm
Mon Aug 6 SDS Cafeteria 6-7pm

We'll be accepting baseball/softball uniforms and passing out soccer/volleyball uniform during these four timeslots. If this is your first time getting a uniform from SDS/StG Athletics then please bring 2 undated checks for deposits.

Any children playing in the Instructional league (Pee-Wee program) do not need to attend these nights. Your child will receive a t-shirt from their coach and will be able to keep the t-shirt.

Turn-in your soccer or volleyball (or any other outstanding sport uniform) and pick-up your basketball uniform.

1st and 2nd grade basketball players will receive a t-shirt (to keep) from their respective coaches. Those players/families do not need to pick-up a basketball uniform on these nights.

Sunday, 10/15 - Fields at St George are playable. Bring an extra pair of socks and shoes for the drive home. Put a long sleeve shirt on under your child's soccer jersey, as well. It's a bit chilly today.

Basketball registration is now open.

Please note that C*C Basketball starts in 3rd Grade. There may be an instructional league for younger teams.

Our teams consist of St. Dominic Savio and St. George parishioners or non-parishioners that live in our parish boundary. You must be registered in our parish or live within our parish boundary in order to register for our teams.
If you do not qualify for these requirements, you must register with your home parish. Your child will not be placed on a St. Dominic Savio team if you do not register with your home parish first.

Before you register your child for the 2017-18 season, please consider the following:
Our coaches will be giving of their time and talents. Over the course of the season they will spend countless hours teaching our children during practice and at games. These volunteers selflessly give of themselves in order to serve the needs of every boy and girl regardless of ability.

Please make sure that you and your child are willing to reciprocate that time and dedication given to them by their coaches. C*C organized sports require hours of preparation and volunteer time and deserve appropriate priority.

The SDSAA registration fees per sport are as follows:
3rd thru 8th graders:
First child - $75 / Second child - $75 / Third or more - no charge
1st and 2nd graders:
First child - $50 / Second child - $50 / Third or more - no charge

Online Registration
SDSAA offers an Online Registration and Credit Card Payment option.

If you need to pay via check or cash, please contact the lay director.

Registration Deadline - Registration will officially close at 9:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Registration after that date will be subject to availability and a possible late fee per child.

Reminder...uniform nights at SDS Cafeteria tonight and tomorrow night, 6-8pm. This will be your last 2 chances to get a soccer or volleyball uniform. We'll also be accepting any previous sports uniform.

You can pick up your child`s fall sport uniform from 6pm-8pm in the SDS cafeteria, on the following days: Sun July 30, Mon July 31, Sun Aug 6, Mon Aug 7. You can also turn in any previous sports uniform at those same times. If this is your first time getting a uniform from SDS, then please bring 2 undated checks. Congrats to Roman Kaminski, Sam Hurlbert, Sean Miles, Jack Miles, and Matthew Wingbermuehle on qualiffying to the C*C Chess Finals. The tournament is tomorrow at Vianney High School. Good luck boys! Thanks to Wayne Wilhelm for being our Chess instructor!

Good luck to the SDS Chess Club. Today's tourney at CBC is the last one before the end of season tournament (on March 11th). Boys participating today include Jack Miles, Sean Miles, Matthew Wingbermuehle, James Meehan, Andrew Krejci, Roman Kaminski, and Sam Hurlbert. Thanks to Wayne Wilhelm for being our Chess instructor!

Baseball and Softball registrations are now closed. Emails will be sent to coaches over the next few weeks as rosters are finalized. If there are kids on teams that do not have enough players to form a full team, the Baseball/Softball director will reach out to those families individually about other options.
