No. 36 University City (11–4) pulled off a strong home win over the No. 20 Cardinal Ritter College Prep (10–8) with a final score of 56–43. After a tight first quarter, UCity flipped the game with a big 20-point second quarter and never looked back. Both teams traded buckets in the third, but UCity’s defense closed it out in the fourth, holding Ritter to just five points.

This makes for the sixth straight win for UCity and the third loss in a row for Cardinal Ritter. Fans are eager to see how and if Ritter will bounce back to claim a victory in their upcoming game at No. 28 Lift For Life Academy on February 12th at 6:30pm. UCity matches up against the Union Wildcats (2-5) at home tonight, Monday, February 2nd at 7pm.
