✨ And just like that, our 2026 Summer Intensive comes to an end! ✨
What an incredible few weeks of learning, practicing, refining, and deepening our understanding of the Classical Pilates method.
To our apprentices: thank you for your commitment, dedication, and willingness to continue learning and doing the work. Some of you traveled to be here in the studio, while others joined us online from across the world, sometimes staying up late or waking up early just to observe, learn, and be part of the training. 🌎✨
Your dedication, curiosity, and passion for the work have been truly inspiring. 🤍
A special thank you to Cristina for guiding our apprentices through the first weekend of the Intensive, and to Simona for sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion throughout this journey.
And of course, a huge thank you to Kristen for guiding our students throughout the year and for doing such a wonderful job leading this final weekend. 🤍
We are so proud of the work this group has put in and excited to see how they continue to grow, learn, and deepen their understanding of the method.
This may be the end of the Summer Intensive, but it’s certainly not the end of the journey. ✨
And, of course, no Intensive would be complete without a little chin chin! 🥂
Here’s to the work, the learning, the dedication, and everything still to come. 🤍

Why the Cadillac?✨
At first glance, the Cadillac may look intimidating.
In reality, it’s one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the Classical Pilates system.
Designed by Joseph Pilates, the Cadillac helps develop strength, control, mobility, and precision through a wide variety of movements.
Its springs provide both assistance and resistance, offering continuous feedback that helps the body move with greater awareness and efficiency.
Whether you’re new to Pilates or refining advanced work, the Cadillac meets you where you are and continues to challenge you as you progress.
Like every piece of Classical Pilates equipment, it’s not simply a collection of exercises—it’s part of a complete system, with each movement building upon the next.
The Cadillac doesn’t just strengthen the body. It teaches the body how to move.🤍
Have you ever worked on the Cadillac? We’d love to hear your favorite exercise—or one you’ve always wanted to try! ✨

Your body is always listening✨
Every repetition sends a message to your body.
Whether you move with intention or simply go through the motions, your nervous system is constantly learning.
This is why, in Classical Pilates, we emphasize quality over quantity. Each repetition is an opportunity to build better movement patterns, improve coordination, and develop greater body awareness.
Over time, these patterns become more natural—not because you’ve memorized the exercise, but because your body has learned a more efficient way to move.
The body remembers what you practice.
So make every repetition worth remembering. 🤍
Have you ever noticed an everyday movement become easier after practicing Pilates? We’d love to hear about your experience below. ✨

If you’re looking for Pilates rooted in the traditional method, you’ve found us. ✨
At The Art of Control, we are dedicated to preserving the principles, structure, and integrity of Classical Pilates while helping each student develop a deeper understanding of the work. 🤍
Lineage is an important part of preserving the work.
Our teachers have trained under Master Teacher Simona Cipriani, whose education traces directly through Romana Kryzanowska and the original work of Joseph Pilates.
This connection to the teaching lineage helps us carry the method forward with intention, precision, and respect for its roots. ✨
Traditional Pilates is a complete system—not simply a collection of exercises.
At The Art of Control, we teach the traditional method through private sessions and group classes, allowing students to experience the work as an interconnected practice. 🤍
Pilates is about more than building strength.
Through control, precision, concentration, breath, and flow, the method develops a deeper awareness of how the whole body moves and works together.
It’s a practice you learn—not just a workout you complete. ✨
