Carlo came in 4 months post-op from hamate surgery and was still struggling.

Pain at the wrist. Numbness into the pinky and ring finger after hitting that lasted 10+ minutes. Grip strength limitations in the lead hand. Felt like it was holding him back every time he stepped in the box.

Active ulnar deviation reproduced his pain at a 5/10 in the same area that lit up when swinging.

When I tested local musculature, I found muscular and fascial restrictions coming from the flexor carpi ulnaris. This made a lot of sense because the pisiform bone sits directly next to the hamate and the FCU connects straight to the pisiform. That entire line of tissue traced directly to where he was having symptoms.

One needle into those FCU tissues to aggressively mobilize them and the pain went away immediately.

After the video I followed up with electro-stimulation to the FCU and distal points throughout the body to regulate the nervous system and lock in the local changes we made in the forearm.

Completely pain-free after that first needle.

With a case like this, muscular and strength-based, a few more treatments and some modifications to his strength training program are needed to fully address the overactive tissues. But the direction was clear from session one.

This is what I mean when I say needling can be diagnostic. The information we gain in the session doesn’t just treat the symptom. It tells us exactly what needs to be addressed in training and treatment going forward.

Four months of post-surgical pain resolved with one needle. That’s what finding the root cause looks like.

Scarier than any horror film🎬 these are 5 things standing between most athletes and their potential

RHP came in with a year of right elbow pain.

Every time it cleared up, he ramped throwing back up — and it came right back. Pain lingered for days after bullpens. Dead arm feeling at rest. Had PT. Didn’t move the needle. Was told to stop training his upper body.

After a full eval, I found posterior elbow pain into extension. Neurological and orthopedic testing pointed to fascial restrictions in the elbow and shoulder — not a structural issue in the elbow itself.

Treated the posterior shoulder with fascial needling to mobilize the tissue.

He got back to throwing and training upper body with zero limitations.

This is why I loved cases like this. The solution wasn’t complicated — but identifying the actual root cause was everything.

Here’s the reality: most guys in this situation spun their wheels for months or years because the root issue never got addressed. “Stop throwing” and “stop training upper body” have their time and place — but with a fascial restriction, you weren’t going to change anything without targeted treatment and the right training stimulus. Rest alone didn’t fix fascial tissue.

This athlete traveled 20 hours round trip to get this resolved.

Think about what consistent, high-level care over a full year could have done for his career. Investing in the right process doesn’t just get you back on the field — it can save you months of frustration and completely change your trajectory.

Your scar might be why your arm still doesn’t feel right.
A year out of surgery. Did all the rehab, yet something still felt off.

Many people never get their scar touched after that first week. When you cut through tissue, you interrupt the bodies signaling. If that’s never addressed, things just stay disrupted.

When we start treating the scar directly, athletes who’ve been dealing with lingering arm issues for over a year may start feeling different almost immediately.

It’s not complicated once you understand it. It just never gets talked about.
