Well, I have a life update kinda outta left field. I’ve debated to keep it private but after some deliberation I’ve decided to share due to me showing up in life differently for the foreseeable future.
I recently got a cancer diagnosis: Embryonal carcinoma
It’s been slowing me down for the better part of this year and making me shed weight. It’s grown to a large tumor in my abdomen that has affected a lot of important organs and causes a good deal of pain.
So the last few weeks have been filled with tests, operations, and resting while attempting to maintain weight.
I’m supposed to start chemo asap so if you see me around looking like “Egg” from a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms feel free to share a chuckle.
Thankfully this looks to be treatable and we are looking to the Lord in confidence that He knows and cares. Blessed be His name and he’s surrounded us by the best friends, family, and coworkers a person could ask for during this time. But there’s a long road ahead. So leatherwork will be slowing down most likely and art which I can do laid up will probably be in my feed a lot more.
