Another exciting State High Hoops season is right around the corner! Boys are hitting the weight room and open gyms as we speak to get ready to compete for the Mid Penn Championship. As you can imagine playing in the Mid Penn and the distances the team has to travel to away games, expenses are on the rise. And we realize expenses are on the rise for potential sponsors as well, but we wanted to share an opportunity to support a talented team and program. The information below is geared towards any companies that would be willing to sponsor our boys’ teams, please reach out should you have any questions. We will start posting more information as the tryouts/season get closer! And thanks in advance to anyone that can support us!

Today is the Middle School Showcase (yes we made that up) at the High School. Where the great and fun rivalry between Park Forrest and Mount Nittany come together for game day. Gametimes are below. The teams have worked really hard and look forward to showing the results of that hard work!

Please come out and support if you have some time! What better way to spend a dreary February Day!

Great win for the boys on Tuesday and need even support for a big game against CD East. Come out and support, there is good food and better basketball! And as we mentioned yesterday we will have a give away! Students will receive a raffle ticket upon entry and two contestants will be chosen to shoot baskets at Halftime with a chance to win a brand new TV!!!

JV will tip @ 6PM and Varsity @ 730PM. TV contest @ Halftime of the Varsity Game.

Big week for the Boys Basketball teams with a bunch of home games. The boys are working hard and getting better every week! Come out and watch them take on one of our rivals Harrisburg @ 730 tonight. And stay tuned for our first student give away announcement for the game on Friday. Need to pack the gym (or Lion's Den) for a huge game against CD East.

As you may have heard, one of the members of our State High basketball family is fighting a very difficult battle right now. As a long-time coach, Rudy Burruss has made a tremendous impact on our program, his students, and student athletes in our school system and we will all stand beside him through this difficult time. Another open gym tonight, just a reminder that hat tonight's open gym is from 7:30-8:30pm in the South Main Gym. The coaches have meetings till 7:30 to ensure we are ready for the season!
