The Claude Moore Community Center offers a variety of programs and special events for all ages. Our goal is to provide something for everyone.
The Claude Moore Community Center (formerly the Sterling Annex) has a full-time staff of six people and is located in the Claude Moore Park Complex in Sterling in Eastern Loudoun County. We offer a variety of programs and special events for all ages. We also have rental space available for parties and larger functions. One of the most popular programs we offer is our licensed preschool. We offer preschool classes for two-and-one-half year olds, three-year olds and four-year olds. We maintain state licensing guidelines in the administration of the preschool. Our advisory board is made up of local residents. Their mandate is to advise the center management on directions they think the community center should be moving to best meet the needs of the community. The board also helps with fund-raising activities, and building improvements. If you would like to be involved with the advisory board please contact the Center Manager at 571-258-3500.

Loudoun County Government is open, but on unscheduled leave status. PRCS sites are open, but services are affected. All PRCS activities at Loudoun County Public Schools and PRCS athletic fields are cancelled. Adult Day Centers will not provide care services. Senior Centers will not provide transportation or home delivered meals. Licensed preschool, CASA and YAS are cancelled. Community centers and Claude Moore Recreation Center are open with reduced staff which may impact programs. Please contact your nearest center directly for updates.
