Plan was for a quick Pilates video to demonstrate the abdominal series... with no speaky because the hood-rats are LOUD! Then pippin decided he needed to play too!

The series is 100s, single leg stretch, criss-cross , double leg stretch, single leg switch. 10 sets of each.

We are offering a FREE 12 Days of FITmas Challenge to keep you all focused on your health & give you something to focus on during this highly unusual holiday season.
The 12 days will incorporate physical as well as nutrition and lifestyle challenges - think push ups, drink 8 glasses of water and meditation/mindfulness.
The 12 days are just Monday - Friday, giving you weekends OFF....

Here's how it's going to work:
Register by emailing and you will be added to the roster. The emails are listed below.
Our trainer, Jen, will email all participants each AM with the specifics of the challenge for the day.
We are asking challengers to post a photo participating in the challenge on their FB /IG page and tag @q_athletics and/or . Each post enters you into a drawing for a prize at the end of the 12 days.

The challenge starts this coming MONDAY, 12/7. Feel free to share/post to invite friends and family. Let us know if you have any questions and NO, we aren't telling you the daily challenges in advance, but like all challenges, there will be modifications if needed.

How to do a Squat Properly: Watch the Muscles in 3D

If you've made it to our page it means you know you need a challenge. Are you willing to take it on and complete it?
It's only 14 days, BUT it's 14 days in a row! Give it your best shot. Each day will be a different challenge. Some will be physical, some mental and others nutritional. Every day you are able to check off that box will give you a sense of accomplishment that will help you in many other walks of life.
PLUS we have some prizes for the MVP of the challenge (voted on by our trainers).
Recommended format is 10 sets of 10 squats and 10 pushups.
Note: if you have to do pushups from your knees, that's fine, but make sure your entire body goes to the ground. Hips down!

About Q Athletics

For almost 10 years, head trainer Bobby Quarantillo has been preaching this to parents and athletes in Northern Virginia.

In order to achieve success, an athlete must address their strengths & weaknesses. The use of video film and analysis of an athlete as soon as they begin training is how Q Athletics justifies improvement in the athletes they work with.

Athletes are also timed in several agility, footwork and explosive-based drills that are tested on a monthly basis (ABC ladder, jump rope, pro agility, broad jump, sprints).
