Results are in from Poland...Competing in the Ziolkowski International, Clayton Foster won his first match at 96 kilos (211.5 lbs.) by forfeit but lost his second to a hometown favorite, Radoslaw Baran of Poland, 2-0, 1-1, 1-1.
While most OSU students are partying and enjoying their last days of freedom before starting class next week, Cowboy wrestler Clayton Foster is in Poland to represent the United States in an international freestyle tournament. It's not all about wrestling, however. The team traveled to Auschwitz to view firsthand what remains of N**i atrocities. Competition is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Chris Perry came back to win two matches in the repechage (wrestlebacks), beating Jiri Pasek of the Czech Republic, 10-0, 3-0 and Ville Tapani Heino of Finland, 1-0, 5-2. In the match for the bronze medal, he lost to Dato Marsagishvili of Georgia. Dom Bradley, University of Missouri heavyweight, won gold. With Ellis still around, looks like the Tigers will have a tough problem at heavyweight this year!
