Have you ever wondered if a rehab program would benefit your horse or what all goes into one? Not all programs are created equally! What sets the Rocking E Stables Equine Veterinary Rehabilitation Program is just that – “Veterinary directed”.

What types of cases benefit from equine rehab? Not only do we offer rehabilitation programs for athletic injuries, but also for post-operative cases, neurologic recovery, overall conditioning and more.

Case:
A 13-year-old Thoroughbred gelding presented to the Rocking E Stables for rehabilitation following treatment for EPM (Equine Protozoal myeloencephalitis) and caudal cervical osteoarthritis. Both diseases caused generally weakness in the horse which made him unable to perform. After only 30 days of a customized rehab plan that focused on neuromuscular and postural control, proprioception, mobility and global strength and endurance, noticeable changes functionally, physically and through performance changes were appreciated.
