Why Do I Use Floracopeia (www.floracopeia.com) Essential Oils Only?

As a certified aromatherapist, I get this questions a lot. The answer is simple. I use and recommend Floracopeia because of 3 things: quality, selection and price:

1) QUALITY: It's the only US-based company selling pure essential oils that are 100% organic, wild-harvested, wild-crafted and sustainably produced. Unlike all other players in this market like doTerra, YoungLiving and all other brands we see on the web and in retail, Floracopeia works directly with dozens of small cooperatives all around the world who develop oils under strict supervision and using old-fashioned mechanical methods (often by hand). This means amaizing unprecedented quality of essential oils. On top of it, Floracopeia sells many unique medicinal and exotic oils that are not sold by anyone else!

2) SELECTION: Floracopeia offers the widest selection of oils world-wide! Just go to doTerra or YoungLIving (they are the biggest players in the US market) website and search for your top favorite essential oils, compare what you see to the same oils at Floracopeia, and you'll see huge difference. For example, search for Lavender and you'll see one type of Lavender by doTerra and YoungLiving (which are just called Lavender and nobody knows where it comes from and what's really in the bottle). But Floracopeia has 5 types of Lavenders and specifies who makes them and where they come from: Lavender from Kashmir, Lavender from Bulgaria, a Fine Polulation Lavender from France, Mailette Lavender from France, and something nobody has period which is Wild Lavender species also from France. Each type of Lavender has a different and distinct smell and medicinal qualities. And it is like this for all Floracopeia oils!

3) PRICE: One would think that Floracopeia oils are more expensive. Actually, the opposite is true. Floracopeia is a unique company, whose leadership (David Crow http://www.floracopeia.com/David-Crow/ and Sara Crow http://www.floracopeia.com/Sara-Crow-consultation/) is driven by very high spiritual standards and isn't blinded by money. Compare the prices yourself. For example, take Lavender: doTerra and YoungLiving sell it for $28 and $30 respectively (this is their retail price). Floracopeia sells its Lavenders (all those kinds mentioned above) for $22 for Kashmir Lavender, $25 for Lavender Bulgaria, $35 for Fine Population Lavender from France, $27 for Mailette Lavender from France, and $47 for Wild Lavender (all companies use same bottle sizes of 15 ml). As you can see, Floracopeia offers 2 exceptional organic Lavenders that are even cheaper and, on top of it, you get an even better deal, if you buy them throught me or any other Floracopeia wholesaler (I give you an additional 10% off and right now it's 15% till Labor Day).

Plus Floracopeia site is a gem of an encyclopedia when it comes to essential oils. But yes - sorry- no flashy marketing or cheap sales tricks. Compare and see it for yourself!

Fun Fact: The nerves in your low back are responsible for controlling your pelvic floor! This patient was having pain with s*x and incontinence. After her initial exam, we discovered that this pain was because she had muscle tightness in her pelvic floor. She was able to use cupping as a way of releasing the tightness and tension in her pelvic floor that was causing her discomfort. After coming to PT, she felt so much better and was able to have comfortable s*x without pain! 🙌🏼✨

What is Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy? 🤔

Many people are still unaware of what Pelvic Physical Floor Therapy is, therefore, I wanted to take some time to educate the public on what this less-familiar, but incredibly effective therapy is for those suffering from pelvic floor pain or dysfunction.

Let’s begin with the pelvic floor and what the heck that is anyway…the pelvic floor is a very important area in the body that helps stabilize, support organs, provide s*xual appreciation, assists with elimination functions as well as continence of bladder and bowels. These muscles become extremely important and most of us go throughout our day having no clue that we have these muscles “down there.” Honestly, before I was a physical therapist, I had no clue either! Now that I DO KNOW I wonder why everyone doesn’t know about this all important muscle group and their functions! They really are amazing until they aren’t amazing anymore.

Sometimes things can go awry, and things can head “south” – figuratively and literally. There can be pain, burning, stabbing sensations, urinary or bowel leakage, urinary frequency and urgency, pain with in*******se, pain with sitting, pain with any or no activities at all. The kind of pain that happens in the pelvic floor region is a pain that is so different than what you experience in the rest of the body and because of this most people are more scared on what is going on with them. As a pelvic physical therapist, we evaluate and treat the pelvic floor. We of course look at the whole body, but we really start the focus on the pelvis to see what is going on with the muscles, fascia, positioning of the pelvis, breathing patterns, holding patterns etc.

The Pelvic PT’s goal is to help the body to remember how to heal itself – so that you feel empowered and in control of your life. You can find more valuable information throughout this website or contact or conveniently located at our Stoneham, MA office. 🙌🏼💕

Sincerely,
Dr. Stefanie DePaul, PT, DPT, FDN, CSCS, RYT

How to Improve Ankle Mobility

Increasing dorsiflexion can be one of the most challenging motions of the ankle to improve. Decreased ankle mobility can have a significant impact on how you SQUAT, WALK, RUN & much more!

The following exercises can be added to improve ankle dorsiflexion mobility:

1.Banded dynamic dorsiflexion
2.Lateral step downs
3.Sled Push
4.Half kneeling stretch
5.Calf stretch w/ strap

Give them a try!

a common question we get: what type of shoe should I get?? 👟👟👟

A recent article published reports as a *general* recommendation the best running is shoe is one that is light weight, YOU find comfortable, and has minimal pronation control technology.

The current evidence does not support he idea that medial arch technology reduces injury risk as once believed.

It is also important to consider what you are using the shoes for - whether it be speed work or long distance, as well as the runner skill level.
