Welcome to the home of the Connecticut Jr Huskies! We are a non-profit association offering programs for children ages 3-18 years old. Programs include travel teams from the Mite through Midget level, and a Learn to play program (Teaching Young Kids the Essentials of Skating). The Huskies skate at Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum, the home of the UCONN Huskies. If you have a hockey star in your family and want to learn more about our program, please head on over to our website! http://www.northeastyouthhockey.org or contact us. No prior skating experience is necessary for Learn to Play program. See you on the ice!

🏒 Bantam A1 Is Off and Running! 🏒

Bantam A1 opened the season at AOF with a strong start and an opportunity to learn what it takes to come together and play as a team. 💪🏼 The first game was a great reminder that the beginning of a season is all about learning, building chemistry, and growing together.

And they certainly showed that growth in Game 2 at South Windsor! 🔥

The team came out strong and worked together to earn an impressive 8–3 victory! 👏🏼🏒

What a difference a game can make! This group is already showing determination, teamwork, and plenty of potential for a great season ahead.

Keep working, Bantam A1! Let’s go! ❤️🏒**

🏒 Sq**rt A Season Opener!🏒

Sq**rt A had a great first game of the season at AOF! The team played hard, worked together, and showed lots of heart and teamwork. 💪🏼🏒

Goalie Tyler came up with some great saves and kept the team in the game! 🥅👏

They may have fallen short on the scoreboard, but there was so much to be proud of! This group is already showing great chemistry, determination, and promise for an exciting season ahead.

We can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes together! ❤️🏒

Kicking off the season with good energy and an even better message.

We were proud to welcome special guests from Shoulder Check, a CT nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness around the importance of checking in with your teammates, friends, and the people around you.

Here’s to a new season of showing up, looking out for one another, and having each other’s backs—on and off the ice.
