It might be a little late but here's the recap for our final tournament for the Aces

Our final tournament of the season had its ups and downs, but our players continued to compete, improve, and show the heart they’ve displayed all year.

The weekend was highlighted by a 16-12 victory over the Central Illinois Chiefs, with Beau Z putting together an incredible performance at the plate. Beau went 3-for-3, driving in four runs with two doubles and a single to lead the offense. The team also stayed aggressive on the bases, stealing 13 bases, with Cole, Campbell, Layton, and Henley each swiping multiple bags.

In our other games, the boys never stopped battling. Against TBD, the Aces jumped out to an early 7-2 lead, showing what they’re capable of offensively. Beau collected two hits, while Jose, Cole, Henley, and Jack all drove in runs. The defense also turned a double play to end a threat.

In the tournament finale against LP Cavs, the Aces out-hit their opponent 5-4 and put together a strong five-run fourth inning. Wesley delivered a clutch RBI triple, while Henley and Jack each added RBI hits. The team continued to pressure defenses by stealing 10 more bases, refusing to quit until the final out.

And a huge shout out to Beau, Layton, and Henley for getting mvp tags over the weekend, also Cole for getting the GMB tournament ball for his performance

As we wrap up the season, we’re proud of the growth this team has shown. The wins and losses don’t tell the full story. These players continued to work hard, support one another, and improve every weekend. Thank you to all of our players, parents, and supporters for sticking with us all season long. We’re excited to keep building and come back even stronger next year.
