📍Peck Lake Park, Hobe Sound, FL 🌿🐾

Short trail, waterfront reward—and our first trail adventure with just Mom and Daisy!

Our walk came to about a mile, with easy natural limestone paths and wooden walkways leading to the Indian River Lagoon. The trail took us through beautiful pine flatwoods, oak hammocks and mangrove swamps.

This trip, the only wildlife we spotted were the land crabs 🦀…Daisy did not like these at all!

The trail photos capture the adventures. They don’t always capture the crying, pulling, or pauses along the way. 🐾

Daisy has big feelings about meeting people and dogs. We ask before approaching, respect when others need space, and keep learning together.

If you see us having a rough moment, a little grace means a lot. There’s a very sweet girl beyond that moment—and so many good days beside it. 💗🌼

Hydration breaks made easy. 💦🐾

We’ve been trying out our new Howoll water bottle, and Daisy is definitely a fan! 🌼 It’s easy to carry, easy for her to drink from, and I love that the leftover water goes right back into the bottle instead of being wasted.

Perfect for quick water breaks on the trail—or one last drink before heading home. 🥾🐕💦
