Imam Fode Drame is a teacher, prolific author, linguist, Quranic Exegete, father, international speaker, and at the forefront of a number of community initiatives. He established Zawiyah Foundation in Vancouver, BC, in 2005, a non-profit charity founded on his vision for humanity.
Imam Fode’s work — whether through his foundation or his writings — is particularly concerned with providing the building blocks for the construction of the human character, the foremost among the subject matters of the Glorious Quran.

His most recent endeavour is the creation of Masina Publications which is dedicated to publishing his books.

✨Aisha (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, erected a Minbar in the Masjid on which Hassan bin Thabit (the renowned poet) used to defend the Messenger of Allah (with his poems). The Messenger of Allah said,“0 Allah! Aid Hassan with Ruh Al-Qudus, for he defended Your Prophet.” (Al-Bukhari).

✨Our Beloved Prophet (SAAW) said, “Truly in some poetry, there is wisdom.” (Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim).

Artists Fariha and Meleekah will lead us in a night of creative expression, followed by our invitation to YOU!
