Coming up on the end of a fairly successful “grow” phase. Right knee (non injured leg) has been killing me the past month. Good thing about doing therapy last year was learning a lot of different ways to correct some imbalances. So this morning it felt the best it has all month. Left knee (injured leg) has been perfect. Quad sweep is exploded on that one.

I know Ive posted about it a couple times before but I don’t think I gave any specifics. And I’ll pin this to my page since I still get questions about it. In late December 2023, I tore my patellar tendon walking down the street lol. Wish I had a cooler story to tell yall lol. It wasn’t from training. A simple slip and fall. I fell backwards putting my quad in a stretched position very quickly. Combine that with walking downhill with 50lbs of luggage on me and slamming that knee into the concrete in the process just snapped the tendon. I was on the tail end of a really successful offseason as well, being fairly lean at 315lbs. I was going to do the Tampa Pro again and try not to tie for last place this time lol. So yea all last year was basically just recovering and getting the tendon and knee back to normal. I’m 6 weeks into a push for size now. Still get questions about the injury and competing, which honestly I’m just enjoying the hobby of training right now. No show plans in sight. I’ll see how this year shapes up though.

What a year can do. First slide was my second time on the hack squat since completely tearing my patellar tendon. Second slide was this morning. Not the smoothest year for those that have been keeping up but upward progress nonetheless. Still a good ways to go in regard to my own goals but I’m getting there.

The push to be super human is on the horizon. If you see me walking around nappy again you already know what’s up 😂

Road maps. I miss the bodybuilding grind a lot at times. Shooting towards a more definitive goal at the start of the new year (omg I’ve turned into a resolution-er lol). Which may or may not lead to me giving it another run at the stage. We shall see 👀

Latest client shout out to . Came to me at 12 weeks out for his first show. We got started at around 11 weeks out. Pics shown here was the span over 8 weeks. And his most improved pose/body part. I was honest with him from the start about the time frame. We pushed HARD and got it done. Unfortunately not able to do to finish the prep. But man this was VERY solid progress/transformation (227-198) and he got to see what his potential is. Was also very enjoyable. He never missed a check in. Tall/bigger frame. Said he hasn’t been below 200 lbs since he was 14 lol
