New Indoor Soccer Hub Will Feature Brewery, Parent Lounge, Play Area

A new 20,000-square-foot indoor soccer facility is coming to Yakima, aiming to bring year-round training, competition and development opportunities for young athletes whose practice schedules are often dependent on the weather.

“With clubs, players are often found getting their practices canceled,” said Jose Hernandez, owner of JH Elite Training and the driving force behind the new facility. “Obviously, with the fires going on right now, we had to cancel our summer program for a week because of it.”

The new indoor soccer facility will include about 15,600 square feet of turf, with two fields separated by netting that can be combined into one field for larger matches. It will eventually offer more than just places to practice, including a parent lounge, concessions, a small brewery and a play area for younger children.
