Rule # 10: Celebrate festivals. We spend our time, effort and take on stress so that we can earn a better quality of life. Celebrating festivals with family & friends are the fruits of that effort. Without the fruit, there is no value of effort.

Rule # 9: Be cognizant of the feeling of having eaten a full meal.
Some of you have been taught from an early age to eat until you physically cannot eat anymore. Until there is pressure in your abdomen from all the food, or if you are feeling drowsy. This is wrong.

To make it easier to comprehend, the proper feeling of having eaten a full meal is and only is "Not feeling hungry anymore".

If you are a big eater, you will realize that after a very little amount of food you are not hungry anymore. You should stop at this point and eat again when you get hungry. This will retrain your body to recognize the feeling of proper satisfaction.

Rule # 8: Calculate the real numbers! I see a lot of people chug down 600 calorie latte's and 500 calorie kulfi's frequently. As an analogy: it is like earning $1000 per month and spending $1200 per month on a car.
Get on a treadmill and burn off 500 calories. It will become crystal clear to you if the kulfi or latte was worth it. The real number of the indiscretion is not in dollars but in the effort required to burn it off.

Rule # 7: Relax! This is one of the greatest rules for super health. We traumatize and abuse our mental health with thoughts of despair, worry, insecurity and trivial quarrels and damage our physical health.
Is it worth it to create fat cells in your body if there is too much traffic, or if the waiter got your order wrong. Is it worth it to create cancer cells if a friend said something negative about you. Is it worth it to lose sleep because your child won't keep the room clean. Of course not.
So relax, 99% of the problems are not worth stressing over and the 1% are beyond your control so why stress over them.
