Congratulations to the Junior High Softball player of the year in D3.
Proud to announce it is Rylen Buchberger from Legacy Traditional East Surprise. She is a 2 time State Champion after winning the title again this year and last year. Rylan pitched and also played shortstop and 1st base through her career at Legacy East. Rylan posted a .568 batting average and also and more importantly has a 4.0 GPA. Rylen led her team in RBI's (35), Homeruns (8) and runs scored (40) as a pitcher she had an ERA of 1.73 with 15 game pitched. Rylen pitched 13 of the 18 innings in this years playoffs and was named the State Championship final MVP. She will be attending Canyon View High School in the fall. We are proud of Rylen accomplishments on and off the field and wish wish her all the best in life going forward. Congratulations again Rylen you are the 2021 -2022 Softball Player of the year.

Her school career has been highlighted by back to back undefeated seasons resulting in two state championships.
