Great start to the weekend for the AZ Titans! There were a number of great defensive plays, clutch hits and stolen bases in the first game, but JP Hernandez stole the show with a complete game no hitter - the 1st in AZ Titans history! JP and his catcher Dusty Stetter were definitely on the same page and did a great job mixing pitches.

Easton Bannias and Tadhg Hebard each launched their first HR of the season in game 2!

This group is showing a TON of progress this season - fun to watch them get after it and compete!!

Getting autographs from Salvy!

No games this weekend so the 12u AZ Titans hung out together as a team at the Kansas City Royals Spring Training Complex and got an up close and personal experience with the big leaguers!

We watched baserunning drills, saw the position players’ throwing program from start to finish, and also got a chance to see pick offs and rundowns executed flawlessly by the major league pitchers and infielders.

The kids loved watching batting practice up close - especially Salvy launching bombs - and all eyes were on Bobby Witt Jr when he was taking ground balls and turning double plays.

Royals Hall of Famer Mike Sweeney gave the boys some baseballs - and it was awesome of Salvy Perez to stop by after practice to say hello to the boys and sign autographs!

We had amazing seats for the game thanks to Coach Mitch and Coach Dave, saw a few long home runs, and the Royals won the game late.

Kids crushed ice cream, learned a lot about the game, and just hung out as teammates - great day at the yard!

More pics from the President’s Day Classic - this team played hard all weekend and came away with some rings! Such a great group of kids to coach and the support from the parents is top notch!

We’ve had some exciting games this weekend out here in Gilbert, AZ at Cactus Yards in the USSSA President’s Day Classic! These kids continue to compete like crazy and it’s fun watching them improve! Tomorrow morning we play for the Silver Bracket Championship at “Wrigley” - let’s go boys!!

Super proud of the way we played this weekend in the Ice Breaker Classic! We didn’t come away with the title (finished 3rd out of 10 teams) but we saw a lot of positive improvements and the boys played hard all weekend. Great group of kids and parents!
